Sharing our stories

An exhibition co-curated by our Young Historians and the Museum of Cambridge will be on display in the Dining Parlour at the Museum of Cambridge from 17 July to 14 September 2026. A glimpse of the exhibition will also be available in the Enid Porter shopfront window in the museum courtyard.

Drawing on the oral history interviews recorded during the project and conducted by our Young Historians, the exhibition explores the stories, experiences, and heritage shared by members of the local community. Coinciding with South Asian Heritage Month, it reveals the rich histories and contributions of South Asian communities in Cambridgeshire.

A complementary digital exhibition will be available online later in 2026. It will also be informed by the oral history interviews recorded during the project, providing additional opportunities to explore and engage with the stories collected.

Museum opening hours vary and admission charges apply. Please check the Museum of Cambridge website for the latest opening times and visitor information.

Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for further details about both exhibitions.
